The Origin Story

Look, I love Amsterdam. The canals, the stroopwafels, the fact that everyone rides a bike with the reckless abandon of a stunt driver. But mostly, I love the coffeeshop culture.

Being from Liverpool, flying over to Schiphol is practically a rite of passage. But after my tenth visit, I noticed a massive problem: finding accurate menus online was like trying to read ancient hieroglyphics. You either relied on out-of-date forum posts from 2014, or you physically walked to 15 different shops just to compare the price of White Widow.

As a self-respecting tech nerd, this deeply offended me. So, I built a data engine. What started as a spreadsheet to save me €3 a gram has spiraled into the most comprehensive cannabis pricing index in the Netherlands.

Why Trust the Data?

Because I don't work for the coffeeshops. I don't get paid to tell you a €30/g "Cali strain" is worth it (spoiler: it rarely is).

DAM Live aggregates real prices from over 140 shops. If a tourist trap in the Red Light District is charging €18 for a mid-tier Haze while a local spot in De Pijp has the exact same strain for €11, the algorithms will flag it. My goal is simple: transparency in an industry that traditionally thrives on tourist ignorance.
