The Story Behind the Corax Amsterdam Community
If you're reading this, you probably searched for Corax Dawai, Corotax, or the Corax Amsterdam community website.
For a brief period, the Corax community was a thriving hub for Amsterdam coffeeshop enthusiasts. I personally built and maintained the Corax Amsterdam community website because I was part of that community and wanted to provide a seamless experience for everyone.
Why Did the Site Shut Down?
I had originally intended for the Corax site to become what DamLive is today—a massive, data-driven platform for tracking live prices and menus. However, as time went on, I stepped back from adding new features to the Corax site, limiting my updates to just posting the latest YouTube and Instagram videos.
The final straw came when I asked him to help promote DamLive (which was already up and running). This resulted in a massive ego-driven meltdown. When personal disputes and ego overshadow the community, tough decisions have to be made. Because I built and owned the infrastructure for the site, I made the decision to pull the plug entirely.
Moving Forward with DamLive
DamLive was always running in the background, and now it has my complete focus. We realized that the community deserved a platform that was completely focused on real-time accuracy, devoid of drama.
If you were a fan of the old Corax maps and menus, you will love what we've built here at DamLive:
- Interactive Shop Explorer: Filter by exact vibes (like tourist-friendly, volcano vaporizers, or canal views).
- Live Strain Pricing: Track over 360+ strains across 140+ shops in real-time.
- No Drama, Just Data: We let the menus and the prices speak for themselves.
Welcome to the true home of Amsterdam coffeeshop hunting. Enjoy the site!
