The Bulldog The First Coffeeshop Menu 2026

About The Bulldog The First

The Bulldog The First on Oudezijds Voorburgwal is the original — the first licensed coffeeshop in the Netherlands, opened in 1975. This legendary status alone makes it a pilgrimage site for cannabis tourists. The interior is a rambling multi-level space with pool tables, Bulldog-branded everything, and a steady stream of tourists creating a buzzing energy. The menu is extensive with reliable flower, hash, and Bulldog-branded edibles. The staff are experienced with the high-volume tourist trade. While purists dismiss it as too commercial, The Bulldog The First is essential for damlive.com readers wanting to tick a historic bucket-list spot.
